ABOUT ME

I was born in Italy in 1986 and I began my career as a Piper quite late, at 21 years old, under the guidance of Dr. Alberto Massi (the most important teacher in Italy).
I continued my studies by traveling between Italy and Scotland, mentored by some of the world's most famous teachers and artists such as Allan MacDonald, Finlay Macdonald, Finlay Johnstone and Michael Gray, obtaining the Level 5 certificate in Piping in 2010 by the Scottish Qualification Authority.
In 2011, after gaining a scholarship from the API & MAHF, I attended the 'Winter Storm' in Kansas City, biggest event of piping in the US.
In 2012 I moved to Australia where I continued playing, joining the St. Andrews Pipe Band based in Brisbane, competing in Grade 2 for a season.

At the end of 2013 I finally decided to move to Scotland, where I had the chance to become a student of Roderick MacLeod, director of the National Piping Center in Glasgow and one of the biggest awards winners for solo Piping in the world and John Mulhearn a very renowed Piper and innovative musician.
In Scotland I also worked for 3 years for RG Hardie Bagpipes, one of the most famous bagpipe factories in the world and I played for four seasons in grade 3 with the Troon Blackrock Pipe Band, becoming the first Italian piper to have ever played for a Scottish Pipe Band.
In 2018 I returned to Italy where I continue my career through lessons, workshops, concerts and events related to piping, collaborating with the Italian Piper Association and the Montelago Celtic Festival (where I have been managing courses for teaching bagpipes for almost a decade ).
Over time I have collaborated with famous groups and musicians such as The Chieftains, Carlos Nunez, The Sidh and Mortimer McGrave.
I have played the Scottish anthem several times for the Scottish national rugby team during Six Nations matches and regularly collaborates with some of the most influential Scottish folk groups throughout Italy.
